Conscious rap artist, skateboarder, and newcomer to loc lifestyle, Lupe Fiasco is brought to tears by the somber reality of loss and the sobering reality of personal grace, in the form of exposure and affirmation, during a retrospective interview with longtime MTV interviewer, Sway.  He looks at a video interview from home and recognizes the “ghosts” - people captured in the video have died, and children who he sorrowful knows “won’t make it out of there.”   Lupe grew up in Chicago, IL which currently rates among the United States’ highest death rates per capita.
